A charter broker is someone who doesn’t actually own or manage any boats or yachts. They simply setup a website, capture leads, and take a commission on the sales they make.

You’ll want to try to avoid these brokers because in many cases they charge additional fees and won’t be there to help you after you’ve paid.

On the other hand, if you find a luxury yacht rental with a company that actually owns or manages the boats, you will typically have a much better experience. If the company owns the boat, they will hold your hand from start to finish and ensure you have the best experience possible.
