Miami is one of the best cities in the world to host your bachelorette party. It’s warm all year round, has amazing nightlife, and is full of so many fun things to do! But no bachelorette party in Miami is complete without a day on a party yacht! This post will outline our tips and tricks to help you plan the perfect day on the water for your bachelorette party.

Where to Start: Planning Your Miami Bachelorette Itinerary

Most Bachelorette trips are weekend getaways. Bridal parties will usually arrive at their destination on Friday and depart Sunday late in the day. So, when you’re planning your itinerary, most groups will be tempted to rent a party yacht during the day on Saturday. If Saturday is the only day that works for your group to rent a yacht, we recommend booking far in advance. Saturday is the busiest day of the week for most yacht rental companies. They will have limited availability and sometimes have higher prices on Saturday. But if you are on a budget and want to save money, we recommend trying to rent a yacht for either Saturday afternoon/evening or Sunday morning. If you are able to book for either of those times, you can sometimes save 10 or 20 percent off the peak Saturday rates.

Choosing the Right Company: Your Miami Bachelorette Yacht Rental

Once you have picked the day that works best for the bridal party, it’s time to figure out which yacht rental company to book with. When you start your search, the key thing to look for is reviews. You want to see that the company has reviews from other bachelorette groups. If you don’t see reviews from other bachelorette groups, I would look elsewhere. Creating a yacht rental experience for a bachelorette group is very different from most yacht rentals. You want to make sure that the company you are renting with knows how to create a fun, memorable experience for the bridal party. You don’t want to be stuck on a boring cruise with a company that doesn’t let you blast music, dance, and have a good time.

Choosing the Right Yacht: Your Miami Bachelorette Weekend

Before you decide what kind of yacht you want to rent, you need to know how many people you will have in your group. If your group is over 14 people, things get a little complicated because you’ll either need to rent two yachts or rent an event yacht. We’ll discuss that further in a section below. But if your group is 13 people are less, things are much simpler because you’ll only need to rent one Yacht. 6 People or Less: 25 feet

Now all that’s left is planning out the itinerary to make sure that you have an incredible experience!
How much time should we book?

We usually recommend booking a 4-hour yacht rental. We find that 4 hours is the sweet spot. It gives you more than enough time to enjoy the yacht and see everything that you want to see. But it’s not too much time to the point where people in your group are ready for the day to be over.

What should we do?

We’ve come up with the six essentials to make every yacht cruise incredible!

1. The Miami Skyline
2. Celebrity homes and mansions
3. Sandbar Party: Swimming & water toys
4. Drinks & good food
5. Loud Music & Dancing
6. Fast Cruising

You’ll start off your trip leaving from the marina and cruising past the Miami Skyline. This will be the perfect time to take videos for your Instagram story to let everyone know you’re out on a yacht in Miami. Then we’ll take an up-close look at celebrity homes and mansions. We’ll get up close to Star Island to see the homes of Jennifer Lopez, Sean Combs (P Diddy), and Gloria Estefan.

After we stop at Star Island, we will head to the Sandbar Party. We’ll head to a sandbar where the water gets really shallow. It’s a great place to swim, play with water toys, party, and blast music. Now it’s time to get the drinks pouring to make sure that everyone has a great time!

Finally, once the party at the sandbar is over, it’s time to make our way back home. We usually conclude the trip by taking a fast cruise back to the marina past the Miami skyline. Take one list video for your Instagram story to make sure that everyone knows you booked a yacht charter in Miami!
