When booking a private yacht charter in Miami, you have a lot of options. It’s important to do your homework and make sure that you are choosing the right yacht for you and your group.
Different types of Private Yacht Charters
• Open Bow Boats – These are great for smaller groups who want to get out on the water but don’t need huge yacht
• Walkaround Day Yachts – These boats are becoming more and more popular. They are perfect for day trips because almost every inch of the yacht is open to the outdoors
• Cabin Cruiser Yachts – Cabin cruisers are perfect if you have people in your group who might want to get out of the sun for a few minutes. Cabin cruisers offer more shade and enclosed cabins that can help protect you from the elements.
• Fly Bridge Yachts – Fly bridge yachts are some of the most coveted yachts out on the water. When you have a fly bridge you get the best of everything. You have an enclosed cabin with tons of space, but then you also have the option to go up on top of the fly bridge and embrace the elements.

4. Plan Your Private Yacht Charter Itinerary in Advance
Having the right itinerary can drastically change your experience on your private yacht rental in Miami. At Miami Blue Yacht Rental, we have several pre-selected itineraries that you can select. We always like to provide the itinerary because we’re the ones who are out on the water every day and know all the best spots.
Mansion Tour & Sandbar Party
Our most popular itinerary is our mansion tour and sandbar party. We’ll depart from Miami Beach Marina and slow cruise over to Star Island. Once we get to Star Island, your captain will tell you about the history of the island and some of the famous residents on the island.
After seeing star island we’ll pick up the speed and cruise south to Nixon Sandbar. On our way to Nixon Sandbar, you’ll see the beautiful Miami skyline and the stunning landscape of Key Biscayne.
When we get to Nixon Sandbar, we’ll throw down the anchor and get out one of our giant floating mats. Once the anchor is down, you can blast music, drink, dance, party, and just have fun! After the sandbar, we’ll jump back in the boat and make our way back to Miami Beach Marina.
